What's more fun than a houseful of kids, beautiful weather, and waves crashing just a short walk from your door?
Not much, I'd venture to say! And, when beach time is done, there's a cute little pool just the perfect size for playing a game of Marco Polo
or just hanging out with the cousins.
No lack of entertainment here!
It's been a busy week, and we've been blessed with mostly sunny days so we've been able to make the most of our time here on the beach.
I think the little one might be distracted a bit with the sand since he's pointing in the wrong direction.
As you can see, there has been some very creative sand art:
Pretty clever, don't you think?
That's a wave, in case you are wondering. She added sea shells later to enhance the effect.
What imagination!
Inside was brimming with fun as well. There was a game of "Among Us". Here they are deliberating to determine who the imposter is.
If you are unfamiliar with this particular game, you are not alone. I haven't a clue how it is played, but I can guarantee that there is a whole lot of animated commotion involved, which is certainly entertaining to this bystander.
There was a fun game of Chameleon, which apparently mimics the Among Us Game, and resulted in a lot of laughs as well.
And some early morning Sleeping Queens...always a favorite.
Of course, it wouldn't be beach week without early morning baking treats with Gramma G. We enjoyed some delicious cheese puff pastry danish one morning.
which puffed up beautifully for our enjoyment.
And chocolate baked donuts another morning,
coated with a heavenly chocolate ganache topping.
They were melt in your mouth goodness.
Dinnertime is entertaining as well with the kids sitting at their own table together.
You can't beat that for fun!
And last night, the kids snuggled up while we watched the Minecraft Movie together.
I'll admit, I'm out of the loop when it comes to understanding the concepts of Minecraft, but I'm pretty sure that I was laughing the loudest through the show.
It's another beautiful day so I'm off to enjoy!
Until next time....
